Testimonials

“I was hoping to break away from the daily grind of my corporate job and reconnect with my innermost self. I did not expect to have such a unique experience connecting with like-minded women, and digging deeper in my personal experiences. I was grateful to have such a safe and inviting space to 'get real' with myself and others. I loved participating in Ariel's workshops, journaling and confiding in the other women, and then having the quiet time juxtaposed to really process my thoughts and get grounded in my journey. I realized in this retreat that I am so much more than a career woman or a job title. I learned that my joy is found most in sharing life with others, and I experienced a newfound hope and optimism for the future that I previously felt stuck without. Everyone needs some of the restoring, reflecting, and rejoicing that the PWP retreat provides. It is not selfish to refill your cup; it is essential in order to keep giving our full and most genuine selves to those in our lives. I can't wait for the next one!”

“Prior to the retreat, I was wondering why I chose the path that I did (my expectations of myself versus the expectations others had of me)? I wanted something to reignite the passion I had.

What I enjoyed most about the retreat was how supported I felt through every emotion and decision I faced. I learned how vulnerability can not only connect you with others but also open up a door allowing others to be vulnerable back.

I feel more connected to myself than ever before. I realize that I am thinking about self-care and making intuitive decisions throughout my day-to-day life a lot easier and with more positivity. As someone who was on the fence initially about the retreat, investing in myself and the retreat was the BEST decision I have made in a long time. I was nervous prior to the retreat and noticed I had many negative self-talk moments prior to the retreat (e.g. meeting new people is hard, I don’t have the time, I just started a new job, it’s too expensive, etc.) Not listening to those excuses and ultimately making the decision to go was worth it in every way. ”

"I was hoping to walk away from the retreat feeling more grounded as a person, with a greater understanding of my life purpose. My favorite part was getting to know such wonderful people, learning that I am not the only one with these struggles, and receiving such amazing support.

The biggest positive shift for me, was accepting where I am at in my life, gratitude for the work I have done thus far, and trusting that I am on the right path, even if I do not know the exact outcome. The greatest piece of wisdom I could give anyone when walking into this retreat is: come with an open mind and open heart, ready to listen and feel so incredibly heard and seen."
